Drives

The Quality of a product is only as good as the materials and components from which it is made of…As such, VİZYON only use the highest quality materials and components, which comply with relevant industry standards and are subject to continuous and highly stringent incoming inspection procedures. This philosophy ensures that total quality is automatically built into each VİZYON elevator from very start project stage to the final elevator completion stage.

two main types of drive systems are used for the elevator projects, which are ;

1) wire rope traction elevator drive system
basic description : a traction elevator mainly consists of the machine, the machine base, the car sling, the counterweight sling, speed governor, etc. All the components used are distinguished for top – class manufacturing quality and all comply with EN 81-1 standards and codes of practice.
Wire rope traction machine-motor controllers are generally classified as per listed below ;

 one and two speed control
 ACVV and VVVF speed control (variable voltage-variable frequency control)
 In particular, the main advantages of VVVF speed control systems are ;
 Features a long travel height and high travelling speed
 Smooth acceleration and deceleration for greater passenger riding comfort
 Perfect and accurate levelling at the landing stops by means of the latest electronic control techniques (± 2,5 mm)
 Fast delivery and various options of specially designed customised projects
 Low noise and vibration level combined with a high efficiency and a low power consumption (by VVVF inverter control technology energy savings up to %30 are achived in comparison with two speed control conventional traction drives)
 In case of mains power break, the automatic rescue device drives the cabin to the nearest stop and opens the doors (this feature is offered as an option)
 Guaranteed compatibility of all elevator components
 Provide architects, civil enginees, planners, building owners with very advantegeous alternative solutions special to building type and project application for business centers, shopping centers, airport terminals, hotels, public buildings, residential buildings, private houses, mass houses, etc.

2)hydraulic drive system
basic description : an elevator in which the lifting power is derived from an electrically driven pump transmitting hydraulic fluid to a jack, acting directly or indirectly on the cabin (multiple motors, pumps and/or jacks may be used).
All the components used are distinguished for top – class manufacturing quality and all comply with EN 81-2 standards and codes of practice.

The hydraulic lift system mainly consists of the cylinder – piston assembly, the power unit, the car sling and also the guide rails, wire ropes, buffers etc.
In particular the main characteristics of hydraulic systems ;

  Safety and comfort
 High quality and reliability
 Minimum installation and maintenance cost
 Low noise and vibration levels combined with a high-efficiency and travelling comfort
 Long life span
 Standardisation for fast delivery and the option of specially designed - customised projects.
 Ease of installation and maintenance both for new projects and modernizations.
 Emergency release in case of mains power break
 Low stress on the building structure
 Power consumption is reduced by half, since the motor unit is not running when the cabin is travelling downwards
 Perfect application possibility for high-payload freight elevator projects by means of accurate levelling adjustment at the landings
 By using appropriate monophase motor unit, different applications are possible for private villas and special projects, even after the completion of the building structure
 Special- prestigious project applications are possible with various panaromic view choices
 Guaranteed compatibility of all elevator components
 Possibility of adapting into any kind of individual building ambiance
 Provide architects, civil engineers, planners, building owners with very advantegeous alternative solutions for passenger terminals, airports, multi-storey shopping centers, cultural centers, health centers, etc. Wherein high-payload elevators are required.
